![]() Home of Joy (HOJ) began in November 1977 as a result of the need for Christian Growth Ministries or CGM (an inter-denominational para-church Christian Organization to provide temporary care for abandoned, neglected, orphaned, surrendered and homeless children in Metro Manila. In 1984, God provided enough fund through people and CGM was able to build four homes at Dasmariñas, Cavite. We pursued to care for more children, thus HOJ created its own Foster Home where we trained Filipino families to care for needy children who needs individual care and attention. The organization also expanded to Community-based program where we discouraged family disintegration and assist the child in his/her education through partnership with local churches. In 2003 another two homes were built to serve more needy children.
